Susan Schorr, JD
Susan Schorr is Assistant General Counsel at Children’s Hospital Boston, focusing her practice on patient care and employment matters. A native of Boston, Susan worked in private practice as a litigation associate at Curtis Thaxter LLC, a mid-sized firm in Portland, Maine, before joining Children’s in January 2011. Prior to attending law school, Susan earned masters degrees in clinical social work and public administration from Columbia University. She then worked for public child welfare agencies in New York City, Oakland and San Francisco primarily in administrative roles before attending Boston College Law School. Susan received her B.A. in English from Yale University. Susan looks forward to exploring the nexus between the law and ethics and how these frameworks can inform each other in the primary care setting of a pediatric hospital.
